I love what this Uptowner did with this iconic statue profile. Very nice for the rainbow city. Notice the Mardi Gras beads and the Saints fleur de lis on the jacket.

I don't post much about retail goods, preferring to focus on the food, shelter and music of New Orleans.

But these shirts are so delicious, fleur-delicious to be exact, that I had to include them.

This woman-owned store is called Fleur De Lis Fashions and it operates online from Slidell, Louisiana.

This pink shirt with rhinestones is so appealing. Note that this is the back of the shirt, and the front has a smaller design. In my perfect world, this would be the front of the shirt. (See the front of the shirt.)

Fleur De Lis: House emblem

Here's a giant cream-colored fleur de lis emblem on the front of a taupe Mid-City double. This is a good sign of New Orleans pride.
